To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Brian CDCR#BY7, and I just got here in the Reception Center in the State Prison in Delano, I just received 23 years for attempted murder. While I was in the county jail fighting my case, I met another brother in Christ that gave me your address and told me that you send a Bible (I believe an NLT) leather with our names on it? I really didn’t believe it to be honest, because that is pretty expensive to send someone in a prison facility. While sitting in this cell, I seen the address and decided to write. I’ve never had a Bible (leather) with my name on it. Lately, I’ve been struggling with my walk. When I had no choice to take the 23 year deal or go to trial and more than likely lose and get life in prison. It really broke my spirits and I am hurt. I am married and at the age of 44 (next month in November) so I am going to be old or dead… you know! I’ve spent my whole life in and out, In 2016 I last paroled. I got involve in my church – got married and did good until I relapsed. In 2022, got busted for attempted murder. I was 6 years, the longest ever. And now dealing with having to face doing a long time. Yes, I’m really struggling right now. If its true, I promise to study the Bible you send me. I enjoy God’s Word. Thank You!
