Dear Loved ones,
Thank you for all of your prayers and support, may the Lord bless you for your faithfulness. I wanted to give you all an update on the ministry and how, by the grace of God, the Lord’s ministry has been modestly affected by the shelter in place order.
Since March 17th, we have not been able to meet as a ministry for our normal 2nd Saturday of the month Volunteer days at the church, but by the grace of our God, the work continues! The Lord’s dedicated servants have simply been taking the work home with them, finishing the work, and returning back the labor of their love to the ministry office in San Jose. The Bibles are then shipped out by a very small team, utilizing separate vacant offices and conference rooms which God has provided, in an effort to comply with all California shelter in place orders.
In the short time between our last volunteer day and June 13th, about 930 Bibles have been prepared, engraved, and shipped out to our spiritually starving brothers and sisters confined within the state prisons, and county jail facilities, praise God! Thank you for helping each of them receive truth, hope, comfort, and God willing peace during this tumultuous time. Many of you have heard of the large outbreak in San Quinten from the recent transfer of inmates from Southern California. Please keep all of the inmates, staff, and their families in your daily prayers, as we can only imagine the tension within these walls.
I am also grateful to report that during this time, the Bible manual has been translated into Spanish. We include some helpful literature with each Bible when they are shipped. There are tracts that the ministry has written to help evangelize the true Gospel to one another, a newsletter, to stay informed. And now there is a 4-page tool to help unfold and navigate through the Bible, providing commentary to encourage them during specific challenges. By God’s grace when we ship Spanish Bibles, we can now include Spanish tracts and Bible manuals.
Just a couple of days after our last shipment in June I broke my ankle, had surgery and have been humbling recovering. Therefore God willing we will be able to start sending out Bibles again come September as I am further along in my recovery. As of today, I am not able to walk or put any weight on it. So, thank you for your patience while things have slowed down. It’s comforting to put our trust in the Lord when things are not being completed the way we hoped, God knows I’ve needed the rest and time with Him.
The last time we all gathered as a ministry at the church, was back on March the 14th, and we read these letters that I’d like to share with you now…
Blessings to you,
Hello, I am writing to you because I was informed that since I was in need of a Bible, I would be able to be helped and blessed with a Bible if I was to write to you. My name is Leopoldo, and I would like to thank you for all that I have seen come out of your ministry. I have seen brothers here in Tehachapi, as they receive their sword, and they get so excited and start showing off their new Bible. Thank God for the ministry that is able to reach out to us who are in prison and are in need of the word of God. May God bless you all for all that the works you do for the LORD. Hope to hear from you soon. PEACE, LOVE, HOPE, FAITH.
LOVE, brother Leopoldo
Dear Brothers & Sisters of Revelation Bible Ministry
My name is Steven, I’m an inmate at San Quentin state prison. I’ve just accepted Jesus Christ as my true Lord and Savior. He came to me at the lowest point in my life, when I had no one else in my life left to turn to, this is when He showed me His true mercy. Here, there is a terrible shortage of Bibles and it’s hard to get one, unless you buy one. I have no money and was introduced to your organization, by a brother. So I prayed and asked my Lord Jesus to help me with my own New Sword, with my Name Engraved in gold on the front. I pray you would find it in your hearts to send me a compact Large Print NKJV Reference Bible, so I may continue my Journey with Christ, in Jesus Name! I will continue praying God continues blessing your organization to continue blessing and reaching out to Christians everywhere, in Jesus Name, Amen.
God bless you all, brother, Steven
Dear Revelation Bible Ministry, “FEED THE ORPHANS”
I praise God for the ministry that our Father has given unto you to further His kingdom through His Word. Introducing criminals with behavioral defects as myself, for I know that I am not a perfect man, God knows, however trough Christ Jesus who I serve and have declared before men, that Christ is my Lord and Savior, and only through Him has my behavior changed by my free will to change. My new found character has become the character of Christ Galatians 5:22-23 which are the fruits of His Spirit. If a Christian has not the fruit of the Spirit, has not Christ in them, Amen. I am writing in hope, that I may receive one of the beautiful dark red small large print Bibles, that I had the pleasure of seeing and holding a copy another brother in Christ possess. Please, by the grace of God’s love for me, has placed me in position as an elder of leadership in our church “House Of Bread” here in C.H.C.F. medical facility. I have no money to donate, so please forgive me. My passion and dream when released is to first bring all mine children unto Christ, and secondly, minister to those that are orphans, lost people who has not received Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus said we would not be left as orphans, He would send us the Comforter. We believers dwell with the comforter, those without are those comfortless orphans. We must feed them too.
Thank God & I love you. Bro Ha
