Dear Loved ones,
I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with grateful hearts for all the Lord’s mercies He’s bestowed upon us. I am grateful to Him for each of you.
Please mark your calendars for the next Volunteer Day Saturday, December 17th from 9Am-1PM. God willing, I look forward to serving alongside of you. Breakfast, coffee, beverages, and snacks will be provided.
Here’s a special letter from our brother who’s incarcerated…
God bless you brothers,
There was an inmate here, and he was deported to Mexico. He came to me and asked if I would like his Bible that he had received. I said yes please! So, he gave me his Bible, it has his name, but I don’t care. I was happy to get his Bible. But then I felt sad because he was leaving his Bible. So, I started to look in the Bible and I found some papers. Letters of other inmates that are asking for Bibles. But when I saw you brothers in the two pictures working hard the Spirit touched my heart and tears filled my eyes. And I said Lord I want to help too. Here is my donation with all my heart and love, and I pray the Lord will touch many other hearts so they will help too.
God bless your brother in Christ, Marvin
Marvin sent a sacrificial donation with his letter and was referring to the newsletter that we include with each Bible that is similar to this email. Every donation is needed and greatly appreciated, and, when we receive checks and stamps from the inmates, words cannot express the gratitude towards the Lord for the affirmation that the Holy Spirit is moving in their hearts. We don’t advertise or visit the facilities, as everyone hears about us word of mouth and writes a letter requesting a Bible. We haven’t had the opportunity to meet one another or look into each other’s eyes, so we walk in faith that God’s Word does not return void. I hope and pray that reading Marvin’s letter brings you as much joy and hope as it does mine of God fulfilling His promises. If you’d like to be an answer to Marvin’s prayer, please come out on the volunteer day and or donate (donation link and info below). Words cannot express the bounty in your heart after serving through this ministry.
Please keep the owners and managers of our office building in your prayers, for the Lord to bless them for their generosity and hospitality in allowing us to use the larger vacant offices for the Volunteer Days and storing supplies for no additional rent. Please also keep the inmates, the staff at the facilities and their loved ones in your prayers; it’s a challenging time of year for many, especially for these individuals. God willing the Bibles that we ship on the 17th will arrive for Christmas.
***2023 Next Volunteer Day: February 18th, God willing, mark your calendars***
We operate from individual donations, volunteers and of course God’s grace and appreciate your prayers and support. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and a tax-deductible receipt will be sent out once a year in January for the previous year.
Thank you for your support and Merry Christmas,
